Lancelot Imasuen to Host the Centenary of the Death of Omo n’Oba Ovonramwen

Lancelot Oduwa Imasuen, with the cast and crew of his historic epic Invasion 1897 and the news media are all looking forward to January 14, 2014, the Centenary of the death of Omo N’oba Ovonramwen in exile in Calabar, which is also the same month of the epoch of modern Nigeria by the amalgamation of the Lagos Colony, Southern and Northern protectorates on Jan 1, 1914.

Lancelot has been on the locations of his historic epic Invasion 1897 in Benin, Calabar and London and will be back in Lagos to host a special celebration in his Lagos studios on January 14, 2014 in remembrance of Omo n’Oba Ovonramwen Nogbaisi, the hero of Invasion 1897 and the great Benin Kingdom led by Oba of Benin,Omo N'Oba,N'Edo Uku Akpolokplolo EREDIAUWA, C.F.R,  the 39th Oba of the dynasty of Benin Kingdom. will be marking the historic day at the palace. The event will be the prelude to the World premiere of Invasion 1897 in Benin, Edo State of Nigeria..
