Nollywood diva, Genevieve Nnaji has become the first Nollywood filmmaker whose directorial debut feature has made the Official Selection in the Discovery Section of 43rd edition of the highly esteemed annual Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) of Canada scheduled to take place from September 6-16, 2018.

Tokenization and Film Financing

Tokenization and Film Financing

J.D. Seraphine, Vision Tree: : We’ve had some success in the past with crowd funding so we were looking to use a similar approach to get the audience invested and engaged in the project. We created a security token which means the people who buy the tokens to own a stake in the movie itself. Simultaneously, we created a utility token which has a specific application within the ecosystem of the platform. Users can earn utility tokens through engagement on social media and can use them to vote on things such as choosing which will be the official trailer.

Barack Obama and the American Dream

Barack Obama and the American Dream

In 2008, I actively participated in the political arguments and debates on the U.S  presidential campaigns of Senators Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama of the Democratic Party until the presidential nomination and election of Barack Obama as the first African American President of the United States of America.
I compiled and documented selections of my arguments, comments and commentaries I posted in responses to the reports and opinions of others, including posts from my blog on the Des Moines Register of Iowa.  I decided to publish the book of over 400 pages for the benefit of public knowledge and studies in the political history of America on how the son of an African immigrant became the 44th President of the United States of America on January 20, 2009. A book that parents can read and share with their children and millions of people in America, Africa and the rest of the world can read and keep in both private and public libraries.
I got one of the best book editors in America, Pamela Guerrieri to edit it and I paid more than US$1 per page she edited. Then I submitted the book for publication to an American publishing company that replied that it was not the kind of book it publishes . But it recommended another publisher who told me that members of her editorial board would have disagreements over it and referred me to
Hillcrest Media Group.
Then she also said:
"First, I believe that the person’s merit is based on what they do and how they act, not on the color of their skin. Second, I do not support anyone who seeks to take away the freedom that our for fathers and mothers fought long and hard to gain.  I believe that Obama and his agenda are inherently socialist, and a socialist agenda is anathema to the freedoms I hold as sacred, such as the freedom to choose how I care for my body, my mind, and my children (all freedoms that are taken away in the “Healthcare reform” bill.)"
I have decided to consider more intellectually informed publishers that will appreciate and publish this very important book of American democracy in the 21st century.

Why Sambo Dasuki Should Not Be Released

Enemies of the State are sponsoring malicious opinions of their political campaigns of calumny against President Muhammadu Buhari and the national ruling party, All Progressives Congress (APC) published in Nigerian newspapers and the foreign press, including Bloomberg and New York Times. These enemies of Nigeria include sponsors of the Boko Haram terrorists. The following article was written by a member of Nairaland, Africa's largest online news and information forum in reply to the malicious report, Army Habits Die Hard as Nigeria's Buhari Defies Court Orders by Dulue Mbachu and Yinka Ibukun published by Bloomberg on July 30, 2018.

Why Sambo Dasuki Should Not Be Released

Arguably the most high-profile detainee is Sambo Dasuki, once a security adviser to Buhari’s predecessor Goodluck Jonathan. Charged with offenses related to money laundering and diverting money supposed to be used to buy arms to fight Islamist militant group Boko Haram, Dasuki has been held for three years as bail orders, including from an Economic Community of West African States court, have been ignored.

You even mentioned Dasuki is a high profile-detainee.
Anybody that wants this cruel rogue released without the country knowing the main root of the matter is nothing but a fellow rogue and devil.
A man who hundreds of soldiers died on the battlefield and was charged with offenses related to money laundering and diverting money supposed to be used to buy arms to fight Islamist militant group Boko Haram.
