The Aeneid 1

The Aeneid 1

Pictures from my storyboard for Virgil’s The Aeneid as an AI-generated historical epic that will be visually spectacular, deeply cinematic in 70mm format; blending myth and history.

Trojan hero Aeneas with Queen Dido of Carthage.

King Iarbas, the powerful North African king and fierce warrior ruling over local territories; the son of Jupiter Ammon, a fusion of the Roman king of gods and a North African deity as the suitor of Queen Dido.
Queen Dido setting herself ablaze and  cursing Aeneas for refusing to marry her.
This is pivotal moment in the epic, representing a final plea for vengeance against Aeneas.

"Nullus amor populis nec foedera sunto. / Exoriare aliquis nostris ex ossibus ultor...".

No love between our peoples, no pact between us... Rise up from my bones, avenger!

Aeneas in the underworld.
