The Family Friendly Photographs that Changed Public Image of Muhammadu Buhari
These presidential election campaign photographs changed the public image of President Muhammadu Buhari from the previous images of cold and stern looking personality to a family friendly father, grand father and more tolerant public friendly political leader.
These photographs of Buhari and grandson and grand daughter boosted his public relations and endeared him to the younger population.
Some of the photographs were inspired by President Barack Obama's interactions with children.
These photographs showed us that the retired General Muhammadu Buhari is now indeed a born again political leader from the former military dictator to a true democratic leader who should inspire millions of Nigerians in the fulfillment of the Nigerian Dream of a New Nigeria.
As the lyrics from "The Greatest Love of All" speak volumes for the expectations of Nigerian children who are indeed searching for a hero; someone to look up to after thousands of them have been traumatized by the nightmares of the horrors of the bloody Boko Haram terrorists in the middle belt and northern regions of Nigeria. And we hope President Muhammadu Buhari will not disappoint them.
"Greatest Love Of All"PS: "The Greatest Love of All" is a song written by Michael Masser and Linda Creed and originally recorded by George Benson for the 1977 Muhammad Ali biopic The Greatest.
I believe the children are our future
Teach them well and let them lead the way
Show them all the beauty they possess inside
Give them a sense of pride to make it easier
Let the children's laughter remind us how we used to be
Everybody's searching for a hero
People need someone to look up to.

The Victory of Muhammadu Buhari, Eze Festus Odimegwu, Igbos and My New Book
The Victory of Muhammadu Buhari, Eze Festus Odimegwu, Igbos and My New Book
When Nigerians Report Online and other news media channels published "Why the Victory of Muhammadu Buhari is the Best for Igbos" by Eze Festus Odimegwu on the eve of the 2015 presidential election on March 27, many Igbos did not bother to read it and others read, but could not challenge the salient reasons of the highly intellectual Nigerian technocrat. Majority of Igbos never expected the incumbent President Goodluck Jonathan to lose the March 28 presidential election with his billion dollar re-election political machinery. And in fact, the same Igbo supporter of former President who even paid me to publish the political treatise of Eze Odimegwu, boasted that Muhammadu Buhari would be weeping again in defeat. But contrary to all expectations of majority of the Igbos, Almighty God had a different plan for Nigeria and His will prevailed. The rest as they say is now history.
Majority of Nigerian masses were tired of the horrifying nightmares of the 16 years maladministration of the ruling party and wanted a change of government and the Change mantra of the leading opposition party, All Progressives Congress (APC) became their national slogan from the street to the internet. The momentum of the wind of change turned the tide against the incumbent president and he lost the presidential election to Muhammadu Buhari who made history as the first Nigerian presidential candidate to defeat an incumbent president. Eze Odimegwu and the minority of Igbos who supported Buhari were vindicated. And I felt more justified to publish "The Victory of Muhammadu Buhari and the Nigerian Dream: My Testimony on the 2015 Presidential Election". This is the first book on the 2015 presidential election.
The first paperback version is already available on Lulu, http://www.lulu.com/shop/michael-chima-ekenyerengozi/the-victory-of-muhammadu-buhari-and-the-nigerian-dream/paperback/product-22201460.html.
The tablet version will be on Amazon Kindle next week and the hardcover version will follow.
Every literate person deserves to have a copy of this book and read it.
It is an important documentary on the most melodramatic presidential election in the political history of Nigeria in 114 pages in full colour. The book captured the most colourful moments of the presidential election campaigns of Muhammadu Buhari; the principal political protagonists and antagonists and the selection of the most captivating photographs of APC leaders, their beautiful wives, the Zahra Buhari's WOW moments on Twitter and the top entertainers who endorsed and supported Muhammadu Buhari all the way from 2014 to the historical presidential election on March 28, 2015.

Africa is Now the Frontier for the Next Wave of Internet Progress - Kathy Brown, Internet Society CEO
Internet Society CEO Kathy Brown: Africa Primed to Take Advantage of the Internet Opportunity
The Africa Internet Summit (AIS) is being held today in Tunisia
TUNIS, Tunisia, June 2, 2015/ -- There has been robust growth in Internet access and usage over the past few years and Africa is now primed to take advantage of the social and economic opportunities that the Internet can bring to people across the continent. This was the focus of an address delivered to delegates at the Africa Internet Summit (AIS) being held in Tunisia by Kathy Brown, President & CEO of the Internet Society (http://www.internetsociety.org).

In her speech, delivered to AIS participants in Tunis today, Ms. Brown highlighted the progress made in recent years to bring improved Internet access and availability to more people in Africa, noting how the this growth provides a strong foundation for stimulating opportunity through an enabling environment defined by inclusion, innovation and entrepreneurship.
“Africa’s recent economic growth rates and growing entrepreneurial spirit are combining to create a climate of opportunity,” said Ms. Brown. “Advances in Internet infrastructure and the meteoric rise of the mobile Internet have already transformed the African technology landscape. I believe that Africa’s Internet is now at a tipping point, poised for further positive change and expansion as the continent looks forward with confidence to the future.”
She added, however, that there are still barriers which must be overcome in order to capture the full economic and social promise of the Internet. While connectivity is on the rise and available bandwidth in Africa has increased significantly, challenges for the African Internet business ecosystem still include factors such as the cost of broadband, online fraud, lack of local content and fragmented markets.
“Africa is now the frontier for the next wave of Internet progress,” continued Ms. Brown. “While there is huge potential for Africa to continue building an Internet that will best serve its needs and its people, it is critical that true collaboration across Africa’s technical community, a culture of innovation and a spirit of entrepreneurship form part of this process. The Internet Society stands with Africa to continue the great momentum underway to overcome challenges and enable the economic and social possibilities that only a truly open, trusted Internet can deliver.”

America's Most Trusted News Channels
America's Most Trusted News Channels
According to a poll conducted by Quinnipiac University, Fox News is the most trusted network and cable news channel in the United States. 29 percent of American respondents said they trust Fox News the most, compared to just 22 percent for CNN. The results of the survey should come as little surprise, given Fox News' immense popularity and massive ratings. For many Americans, it's their primary mainstream news source. In 2014, it was ranked second behind ESPN in total viewers among all ad-supprted basic cable networks in addition to having the top five programs in cable news.
This chart shows the percentage of Americans saying they trust the following news coverage the most.

FIFA's Corruption Also Has A Human Cost
Following the arrest of senior officials accused of “rampant” corruption, some of FIFA’s key sponsors have threatened to reassess their relationship with the organization. Allegations of bribery amounting to over $100 million have rocked soccer’s world governing body but this story isn’t just about money. It’s also important to mention the deaths that are going to be associated with soccer’s showpiece event in 2022. The decision to award the 2022 World Cup to Qatar didn’t just raise eyebrows. It also created a storm of controversy and disbelief. The World Cup would take place in a tiny nation with a questionable human rights record, barely any soccer culture, and in a climate where playing the sport would be nearly physically impossible.
More importantly, however, migrant workers have been dying in droves since Qatar started work on the infrastructure for the event. Even though it’s difficult to obtain data on the exact number of fatalities, a Guardian investigation revealed migrant workers in Qatar, primarily from Bangladesh, India and Nepal, were dying at the rate of one every two days. The Washington Post compared these figures with other sporting events to gauge the sheer scale of the situation in Qatar. Even though it’s also difficult to divulge which deaths are directly associated with the World Cup, numbers are almost certain to be high. Whether corruption is proven or not, the decision to host the event in such a country is already having far-reaching and fatal consequences. If the current trend continues, 4,000 migrant workers will die in Qatar by the time a ball is kicked in 2022.
