According to the World Economic Forum and International Labour Organization statistics, Luxembourg has the world's highest share of people in high-skilled employment. 59.5 percent of the small country's workforce is employed in occupations requiring tertiary education skills. This is primarily thanks to Luxembourg's small and open economy, which has a prominent financial sector, dependent on a high skillset.
This chart shows the countries with the largest share of people in high-skilled employment in 2015.
