Niger Delta Message To President Muhammadu Buhari - #EndSARS is child's play.

What caused the violent #EndSARS protests was breakdown of communication between those in the corridors of power and the majority of the citizens of the nation.

The World Première Première Of"Bekederemo!" Tribute To Prof. J. P. Clark coming soon.

Extract from the first movement-

Bekederemo!
Bekederemo!!
Bekederemo!!!

Why have you left us in The Boat.
In the turbulent storm?
Without even A Reed in the Tide.
Behold the bloodshed of the Casualties.
Shot by the demons in uniform.
See the bloodshed of the martyrs of the revolt
Our revolution against the State of the Union.
Our nation is like The Raft adrift down the River Niger.
Even the gods of Ozidi have taken to their heels.
Bekederemo!

Jen Brister To Host makers & shakers Awards Inaugural Ceremony

Jen Brister To Host makers & shakers Awards Inaugural Ceremony

"We are excited to announce that comedian Jen Brister will be hosting the makers & shakers Awards inaugural ceremony on December 14th 2020.

The makers & shakers Awards supported by EQUALS, a brand new event to celebrate excellence in global production.

The makers & shakers Awards – which were officially launched at a special event at BAFTA in December – honour ground-breaking ideas and initiatives from the world’s commercial, TV, film, animation and gaming sectors.

makers & shakers  Virtual Awards Ceremony

###

I was recommended for the inaugural makers & shakers Awards, but the heartbreaking catastrophe of the COVID-19 pandemic left me  totally distracted and disinterested in celebrations and events in the entertainment industry. I retreated into self-isolation even before the compulsory lockdown started and till date I have not been to any physical event or had a physical appointment.

Without making noise about it, I have been promoting film locations in Nigeria for international TV and film productions and film tourism which attracted the global film industry since 2016 to date.  Film tourism can generate more revenues for Nigeria than the revenues from Nigerian movies. Movie merchandising makes more money than the box office and subscriptions to OTT platforms combined.

The #Nollywood box office hit comedy, "The Wedding Party" would have made more money from movie merchandising than the box office.

The Sanitation and Hygiene Fund To Be Launched On 17 November

Ms Amina J. Mohammed, Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations.

GENEVA, Switzerland, Nov. 12, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- The Sanitation and Hygiene Fund will be launched during an online event next Tuesday. It is seeking US$2 billion over the coming five years to provide a 21st-century solution to the decades-old crisis on sanitation, hygiene and menstrual health.

Currently, more than 4 billion people globally do not have access to safely managed sanitation services. 3 billion lack access to basic handwashing facilities, and nearly 10 percent of the world's population still practice open defecation.

International broadcaster, Ms Zeinab Badawi, moderates the online event, which will begin at 4 p.m. CET.

Many of the world's most serious diseases and leading causes of child mortality are related directly to poor sanitation and hygiene. Yet there has been considerable under-investment in this sector for many years, and this has hampered progress on the Sustainable Development Goals.

Today, the COVID-19 pandemic has deepened existing inequalities as masks are too expensive or hard to find, and social distancing is impossible in many of the vulnerable communities. The lack of proper sanitation and hygiene adds to the risks to life and livelihood for the world's most disadvantaged, threatening the foundations of economies and health security.

Arguing the case for global investment in sanitation and hygiene will be Ms Amina J. Mohammed, Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations.

International broadcaster, Ms Zeinab Badawi, moderates the online event, which will begin at 4 p.m. CET.

Other speakers include Vice President Yemi Osinbajo of Nigeria; Ms Henrietta Fore, UNICEF Executive Director; Ms Grete Faremo, Executive Director of the United Nations Office for Project Services; Mr Gilbert Houngbo, Chair of UN-Water and President of the International Fund for Agricultural Development; Dr Zsuzsanna Jakab, Deputy Director-General of the World Health Organization; and Dominic O'Neill, Executive Director of the Sanitation and Hygiene Fund.

International broadcaster, Ms Zeinab Badawi, moderates the online event, which will begin at 4 p.m. Central Europe Time or 10 a.m. Eastern Standard Time on 17 November. The show will be streamed on the SHF website and its YouTube channel.

By raising and investing the necessary funding, the Sanitation and Hygiene Fund will bring about change and drive this transformation. It will finance programmes that produce large-scale and measurable results and deliver a fundamental social and human right to millions who have been robbed of their dignity.

Monkeys Will Always Be Monkeys

Monkeys Will Always Be Monkeys

"It is better to have commonsense without PhD

Than to have PhD without commonsense."

- Ekenyerengozi Michael Chima,

https://www.amazon.com/author/ekenyerengozimichaelchima

How can you claim to be educated, but you lack the intellectual comprehension of the unforeseen circumstances of the existential realities of life on earth.  Say the truth and damn the wrath of whose ox is gored by the truth.

The stupidities of some Nigerians who have PhD make them look like monkeys dressed up in academic regalia.

Like the one who lied that the demons in uniform who shot the peaceful #EndSARS  protesters at the #Lekki Toll Gate on October 20, 2020 were hoodlums in military uniform. And lest we forget, the hoodlums who went on rampage to disrupt the peaceful protests against police brutality and extra judicial killings in Nigeria did not just appear from the blues. They were hired and organised by the same paymasters who hired them as political thugs for political elections.

Lest we forget, Boko Haram terrorists have families who use banks in Nigeria and go to markets in Nigeria, but the CBN has not frozen their bank accounts. Only monkeys do monkey business.

Monkeys will always be monkeys; from the jungle to the circus or to the zoo.

The Abandoned Children of Adamawa in Northern Nigeria

No child asked to be born poor.

I don't even know how to react. To cry or to be angry. How can the Adamawa state government fail so woefully?

To abandon these innocent children in such a hostile environment without access to any school and without any welfare. And what is the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development (FMHDSD) doing in response to such a humanitarian emergency?
