It is really disheartening to see how Nigerian girls are allowing themselves to be displayed and portrayed as sex objects and sex by shameless and wicked Nigerian single guys and married men.

The main selfish motive of a Nigerian guy or daddy asking a Nigerian girl out is SEX and nothing more.
Not to help her to excel in her studies or career, but to take intimate advantage of her in the guise of "girlfriend".
The definition of a "girlfriend" to a Nigerian guy or daddy is the girl he is having sex with on a regular basis in exchange for gifts in cash and kind and that makes every Nigerian girl a sort of prostitute and sex toy of every randy Nigerian guy or randy sugar daddy. That is why you see our intellectually retarded hip hop artistes exploiting these impressionable and vulnerable Nigerian girls as sex objects in their pornographic music videos.

But in most cases, these girls have accepted it as their fate to be the sex objects and toys of Nigerian boys and men who gloat over their so called romantic and Intimate exploitation and manipulation of these poor debased girls.

A concerned young woman in Nigeria Kemi Filani addressed this evil sexual exploitation of Nigerian girls in "Nudity in Nigerian Music Videos" on her It's Kemi Filani's blog where I got the photographs showing Nigerian girls debasing themselves in music videos.

These evil and wicked Nigerian boys and men come to the girls posing and posturing as "boyfriends", but they are only s*e*x hounds on the prowl. in fact they even label and tag these girls with derogatory names like "Eran" in Yorùbá language which means animal or game to hunted for food and "bush meat" in Pidgin English and other debasing terms.
"You don chop am?" they would ask in their vulgar Pidgin English whenever they see a guy with a girl, meaning have you eaten her; meaning have you laid her.

I know it is not easy for majority of our girls in poor communities to make ends meet where there are no safety nets for the poor.
Imagine a poor girl from a family living in the civilian barracks tenement popularly known as “Face Me, Face You” compounds where whole families of tenants squeeze into 7-by-11-foot rooms along a narrow corridor and up to 50 people share a kitchen, toilet and sink. Of course she would be vulnerable to all the temptations to use her sexuality to make ends meet. But such a desperate resignation of her fate to become the s*e*x object or toy of the boys and men who can pay or provide the money she wants is not the answer to her social predicament. There are better and safer options of survival and good welfare even in the poorest place on earth.



10 million Nigerian children of primary school age are not enrolled in primary schools and 6.2 million girls are out of school in Nigeria according to the Minister of State for Education, Mr. Nyesom Wike. And they represent 62 per cent of school age girls nationwide.

To stop the widespread abuse and misuse of our impressionable and vulnerable girls and young women in the most challenged communities, the United Nations is promoting the Girl Up campaign and 10x10 has launched the Girl Rising campaign.

Please, join us in spreading the word by phone, social network sites and other mediums for the social mobilization and sensitization of our girls to stop their abuse and misuse as s*e*x objects by boys and men in every community on and off campus.

The Mediterranean Diet took first place in the survey's newest category. It was followed closely by Dawn Jackson Blatner's Flexitarian Diet, a flexible approach to vegetarianism, and then Dean Ornish's Diet, a low-fat, heart-healthy eating regimen bolstered by exercise, social support and stress management techniques.

Best Weight-Loss Diets

Skyfall with Daniel Craig in his third performance as James Bond was directed by Sam Mendes and written by Neal Purvis, Robert Wade and John Logan. The film cost about $150−200 million.

The film's release coincided with the 50th anniversary of the Bond series, which began with Dr. No in 1962.

Craig's Bond contract, which he signed in 2005, is for 3 Bond films over 6 years, or 4 Bond films over 10 years at the discretion of Sony and Eon. Craig is being paid USD $12,000,000 for his first 3 Bond films, with an option to earn an additional USD $10,000,000 should Sony and Eon want him to make a 4th Bond film. In South Sudan, Two Journalists Detained in Wau

NEW YORK, January 7, 2013/African Press Organization (APO)/ -- Authorities in South Sudan have been holding two state broadcast journalists without charge since Tuesday, according to local journalists and media reports. The journalists were picked up in a sweep of arrests following protests and ethnic clashes last month in the northwestern town of Wau in Western Bahr el Ghazal State.


Louis Pasquale, director-general of the state broadcaster in Western Bahr el Ghazal, and Ashab Khamis, director of state television, are being held at the Meir al Bahr prison in Wau, according to the same sources. Along with Pasquale and Khamis, three other journalists working for the state broadcaster-radio director Alor Deng, head of news Kamilo Luchiano, and cameraman Michael Lawrence-were arrested but released Wednesday evening, Deng and state Information Minister Derrick Alfred told CPJ.


Local journalists said they suspect the arrests are related to coverage of violence in Wau. Last month, protests erupted after the government said it would transfer the local county headquarters from Wau, the state capital, to a nearby town; at least 10 people died in the ensuing crackdown on demonstrators, international media reported. Wau was a garrison town for the Sudan army before South Sudan gained independence in 2011 and has experienced ethnic clashes since separation. Citizens opposed to the county transfer accuse the government of marginalizing certain ethnic groups, while the government argues it is trying to deliver services to less developed areas, according to local journalists.


Security agents accuse the state media of providing footage of the clashes to international broadcaster Al-Jazeera, Catholic-run Bakhita Radio reported.


"These arrests appear to be part of an effort to suppress information about the unrest in Western Bahr el Ghazal," said CPJ East Africa Consultant Tom Rhodes. "We call on authorities to release Louis Pasquale and Ashab Khamis immediately, and allow journalists to cover events in the state without facing intimidation or arrest."


Alfred said the arrests were intended to restore order to the town. Western Bahr-el Ghazal State Governor Rizik Zakaria said in an interview on U.N.-backed Miraya FM that the journalists were arrested for administrative reasons, but did not give further detail.


According to independent shortwave Radio Tamazuj, authorities briefly detained other journalists from Radio Tamazuj and the Catholic-run Voice of Hope. Radio Tamazuj also reported that some journalists have received death threats by phone or text message since the clashes in Wau.

National Geographic Channel Partners With Scott Free Productions To Produce Best-Selling Author Bill O'Reilly Follow-up 'Killing Kennedy'



WASHINGTON, Jan. 3, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- With the tremendous success of the National Geographic Channel's first feature film SEAL Team Six and in anticipation of the upcoming world premiere of Killing Lincoln in February 2013, National Geographic Channel President Howard T. Owens announced today that the network once again will join forces with Scott Free Productions to produce a two-hour film based on Killing Kennedy: The End of Camelot, Bill O'Reilly's latest New York Times best-selling book with co-author Martin Dugard.

The two-hour factual drama will stay true to the narrative storytelling devices used by O'Reilly in the book, which recounts the assassination of John Fitzgerald Kennedy — and how a sequence of gunshots in Dallas not only killed a beloved president, but also propelled the nation into the Vietnam War and a cultural change.

"The common parallels between Abraham Lincoln and John F. Kennedy are astonishing, with both assassinations profoundly changing the nation during crucial moments in its history. It made perfect sense that my follow-up to Lincoln would naturally lead to Kennedy," said author Bill O'Reilly. Three out Four of Heads of State now on Twitter

The Digital Policy Council's latest research shows world leaders rushing to join Twitter in the hope of better engaging their citizenry.

WASHINGTON, Jan. 1, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Digital Policy Council (DPC), an international, non-partisan "think tank" on 21st Century Governance, has released its 2012 ranking report on the use of social media by heads of state.

The DPC is the research and public advocacy arm of Digital Daya ('digital influence'), a next generation strategic consultancy that empowers government and corporate leaders to leverage the new media of the Internet to build influence and shape public opinion.

The Digital Policy Council's most up-to-date research recorded a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 93% in world leaders joining Twitter since it began recording the data in early 2010 reflecting a near doubling every year of Heads of State on Twitter as they aggressively pursue new ways to build influence with their citizens and the international community.

Analyses as of December 2012 reveal that 75%, or three out of four heads of state, have a presence on the social media site Twitter. A total of 123 world leaders out of 164 countries have Twitter accounts set up in their personal name or through an official government office. The new figures represent a 78% increase in the number of heads of state and national governments on Twitter from the third quarter of 2011.

"We expect Twitter will become a de facto communication tool for nearly all heads of state in 2013," said Omar Hijazi, Managing Partner at Digital Daya. "With a more emboldened and connected society, world leaders are recognizing, now more than ever, that the options for communicating with their electorate have been permanently redefined."

Latin America, Middle East and Women Take Claim of the Top 10

In 2012, President Obama again maintained the top spot of all world leaders, with a vast 24 million followers, adding 15 million followers in one year and exceeding his closest rival President Hugo Chavez of Venezuela by 20 million followers. President Chavez along with four other Latin American leaders made up 50% of the Top 10 including newcomers President Juan Manuel Santos of Colombia and President Enrique Pena Nietoin of Mexico.

Three spectacular women claimed spots in the Top 10 in 2012 capturing collectively over 5.5. million followers; these world leaders are Queen Rania of Jordan, President Dilma Rouseff of Brazil and Argentinean President Cristina Fernandez De Kirchner.

The Queen of Jordan was joined by two other world leaders from the Middle East, President Abdullah Gul of Turkey who increased his following by over 2 million people and an enduring member of the Top 10, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed, Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai who grew his followers by nearly 1 million in a single year.

The sole European on the list is Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, a fresh entrant into the top ten in 2012 likes to tweet in both Russian and English.

Resistance is Futile

Suddenly resistance to this medium, throughout the political sphere, is being converted into acceptance. World leaders are discovering that it isn't possible to control the internet, it is more important to harness its energy in the right direction.

Even the UK Prime Minister David Cameron, a long-time hold-out and consistent disparager of the Twitter platform, experienced a change of heart by adopting in October 2012 a Twitter handle in his own name. When questioned by the media as to why he was at long last utilizing Twitter, he provided an acquiescent yet telling remark, "You've got to get with the programme, I suppose."
