Bombs Kill 8 and Injure Others in Abuja as Nigeria turns 50

8 people were reported killed and over 21 others injured in Nigeria's Independence Day bombs.

The daring Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND) rocked Abuja with bomb blasts in defiance of the government’s celebration of the 50th Independence Anniversary of Nigeria. The loud explosions of car bombs shook the capital city, with one explosion 1 km away from the parade grounds of the Eagle Square where President Goodluck Jonathan was attending the Independence Day parade.

MEND warned that there is nothing worth celebrating after 50 years of failure. And accused the ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDP) of plundering the mineral resources in the oil rich Niger Delta region.

Niger Delta militants in action

Click here for a detailed report.

Rampant corrupt practices have undermined development in Africa’s most populous country where democracy has failed and replaced by what has been condemned as a "kleptocracy", a government of avaricious political contractors and their capitalist collaborators, sycophantic cronies and beneficiaries.

The government has failed to secure lives and properties in Nigeria as rising crimes of kidnappings, robberies and assassinations make daily headlines. The poverty stricken masses are suffering and still smiling and praying for divine intervention in a country where regular power supply, a three square meal or receiving good healthcare is a miracle.

Many of the dare-devil militants, kidnappers, armed robbers, assassins and other lunatic fringe elements were former political thugs and goons employed by the corrupt rulers in rigging elections and for illegal oil bunkering, but these demons they created have turned against them.

Illegal bunkering is still going on while the fake amnesty is being used to fool the ignorant masses.

MEND knows that the PDP wants to use the Niger Delta born President Goodluck Jonathan to woo and to deceive the gullible masses and hoodwink his people in the Niger Delta.

When Prof. Ben Nwabueze (SAN) asked for a bloody revolution on July 7, 2010, he was warning the government of the grave consequences of the impunity of the corrupt ruling party and to challenge the eminent Nigerians and others who were at the public presentation of his latest book; "Colonialism in Africa: Ancient and Modern (Volumes 1 & 2)", at the Nigeria Institute of International Affairs, Kofo Abayomi, Victoria Island, Lagos. But did they repent?

What Are They Offering You in the 2011 Elections?

Nigerian politicians are dyed-in-the-wool Machavellian by nature and when they give you their menu of utopian promises, do not start salivating and smacking your lips, because what they are going to serve you later from the kitchen is most likely going to be totally different from what they showed you in the menu. The rotten food of corruption as the masses have been eating the sour grapes of the ruling party since 1999 to date. It would be terrible if the voters allow themselves to be fooled again.

Politics makes strange bed fellows like seeing President Goodluck Jonathan and Governor Adebayo Alao-Akala of Oyo State together as political buddies. They may belong to the same ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDP), but in ethics of politics, they are like beauty and the beast.

When the late President Umaru Yar’Adua was still alive and active in office, I called him Ali Baba and the 40 Thieves, because in fairness, he was like a sheep in the midst of wolves in sheep clothing in the ruling party.

Beware of the 2011 Elections in Nigeria.

President Goodluck Jonathan is the Trump Card of the PDP

Goodluck Jonathan Declaration of Intent For The 2011 Presidential Race

Dear compatriots, four months ago, providence placed me at the leadership of our dear country, following the untimely death of our dear former President, my brother and leader, President Umaru Musa Yar’adua. It was a very solemn and trying moment for me personally and for the country as a whole. …
~ President Goodluck Jonathan

Over 40, 000 people from all the 36 states of Nigeria are presently at the Eagle Square in Nigeria to witness the declaration of President Goodluck Jonathan to contest the 2011 Presidential Election.

Governors, legislators and other party stalwarts of the notorious rulingPeople’s Democratic Party (PDP) have endorsed Mr. Jonathan who upon the death of the former President Yar’Adua on 5 May 2010 succeeded him to the Presidency, taking the oath of office on 6 May 2010.

The centrist ruling party has been in power since May 29, 1999. But the party has failed to deliver on its promises to improve the living conditions of the most populous country in Africa plagued by rampant corrupt practices and ethno-religious conflicts. The top leaders of the notorious party have been implicated in the Halliburton Bribery Scandal, Siemens Bribery Scandal and other financial crimes and indicted by Amnesty International.

The PDP has exploited the gullibility and hypocrisy the populace to perpetuate its misadministration of the nation. Therefore, most of the citizens will not be surprised if Mr. Jonathan wins the next presidential election in January 2011, because of his power of incumbency and the billion naira budget of his presidential campaign sponsored by Machiavellian political machinery of his sponsors.

The whole scenario reminds me of the exclamation of “It is ‘déjà vu’ all over again!” by Mobolaji Aluko, Ph.D. on April 3, 2002 in his “How A Self-Succession Bid has Turned Nigeria into “Animal Farm” published by Dawodu.Com.

The mammoth crowd at the Eagle Square is reminiscent of the infamous pro-Sani Abacha ‘Two Million Man March’ and seeing the popular Nigerian singer Onyeka Owenu performing her campaign song “Goodluck Jonathan Run” completes the nostalgia, because she did the same for General Sani Abacha at the ill-fated pro-Sani Abacha ‘Two Million Man March’ in the company of many popular musicians and other entertainers from March 2-3, 1998.

The status quo of the corrupt ruling class has not changed and they are desperate to use all means possible to retain power at all costs. And President Goodluck Jonathan is the trump card of the PDP to win the January 22 presidential election in Nigeria.

The only opposition party that can stop the notoriety of the PDP is Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), but it is yet to present any formidable presidential candidate. None of the other political parties can beat the ruling party no matter the credibility of their notable presidential aspirants like former military head of state Gen. Muhammad Buhari (retd) whose strict Islamic ideology makes him unpopular among millions of Christians and liberals in Nigeria.

Nigeria is a country ruled by political gangsters, their proxies and stooges and supported by their legions of beneficiaries and sycophants whose culture of corruption and hypocrisy will continue to plague them until we have a revolution like the one led by Jerry Rawlings of Ghana from 7 January 1993 – 7 January 2001. Only a transformational revolutionary leader can liberate our beloved Nigeria from these kleptomaniacs and their dogs.

God save Nigeria.

President Goodluck Jonathan, Stop Fooling Nigerians On Facebook

President Goodluck Jonathan of Nigeria, majority of Nigerians are not on Facebook and do not care whether you are on Facebook or not.
Being on Facebook is not what they need.

They want to see you address the brazen acts of corruption in your office and the National Assembly.

They want to see you order the IG to stop the illegal toll-gates called police check-points on the streets and highways in Nigeria.

They want to see you prosecuting your corrupt political godfathers who have been indicted for corrupt practices in the Halliburton Bribery Scandal, Siemens Bribery Scandal, your wife, Mrs. Patience Jonathan involvemement of 104 million naira and 13.5 million dollars money laundering case and others you have ignored while you have been chasing shadows on Facebook.

They want to see you addressing the endless cases of pensioners who are suffering and dying.

They want to see an end to doctors going on strike.

They want to see an end to collapsing public schools at all levels of education.
Where did IBB, OBJ and AA get the millions of dollars for establishing private universities?

Do not squander and waste billions of naira on 50th Independence Anniversary of Nigeria.
Spend the billions of naira on modern health care services for Nigerians who cannot afford foreign medical trips.

You do not need new planes for your Presidential Fleet.

Your current Minister of Information and Communications is a square peg in a round hole. She seems confused and would be more competent in the Ministry of Health.

The list is endless.

HOW MANY NIGERIANS HAVE ACCESS TO THE INTERNET?

President Goodluck Jonathan is only fooling Nigerians on Facebook.

Let him face our realities on the streets, towns and villages.

Being on Facebook is not adding anything to our GDP or GNP.

Being on Facebook will not eradicate corruption in Nigeria.

Stop pretending on Facebook and come down to the streets of Nigeria and face the realities of the crimes and evils of your ruling party.
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is the most corrupt political party in the history of Nigeria and Nigerians would be better and safer without the PDP.

If The 2011 Presidency Requires Bold Mixing Then Let In Oshiomhole

IF THE 2011 PRESIDENCY REQUIRES BOLD MIXING THEN LET IN OSHIOMHOLE

In essence, Nigeria functions primarily as a society of labor. The spirit of labor does not embed itself in any political house as in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) or any other national party.

The Nigerian people both in spirit and in body love to labor and therefore they appear to be divinely, subjectively and objectively drawn to a leader who in spite of his or her political affiliation or membership sees the subjects of human struggle, daily toil, and manual effort as beyond religious, ethnic and political boundaries.

If the Nigerian society has a personality it may be colored with qualities and characteristics in the likes of passion, enterprising, collaboration, appreciation, fashionable, patronage, pride, toughness, favoritism, idiosyncrasy, respectability, tribalism, slow change and trustworthiness.

In the face of the complex nature of the nation, a leadership style that crosses these diverse characters is what the country requires at this time. It is possible that one of those individuals is the Governor of Edo State, Comrade Adam Oshiomhole. He sees the people’s issues and struggles as worth fighting for and defending even if it affects his own person in terms of leaning from personal and leadership shortcomings.

In the face of a constructive criticism from a national, traditional and corporate leader like Chief Peter Ojemen with regard to poor infrastructures in Edo State, he is not the type to take a personal or emotional response to correctional critique.

Instead he builds on open and good critique and strategically reconstructs special suggestions into meaningful works for the benefit of the people.

The current general belief is that Governor Oshiomhole, is a man of all flexible political and strategic sides who appears ready to boldly mix with anything or person as long it is all about the public good. In this regard he is a person that could be a part of the presidency and of importance, strictly on national grounds

He has shown the need for independent political thought as evidenced in his public actions that if ideas are of benefit to a group of people he is willing to listen irrespective of whether the ideas emanate from an oppositional or one’s own party. As such he is not the type to dismiss any leader simply on the basis of ethnic or political membership.

If truth be told he does not appear as one that is inherently tied to the doctrines of a political party, therefore making him fully ripe to run with any one with different party label and work across political lines. He has always being daring and loves to take on risky courses.

The long standing disruptive fight between the Federal Government and the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) saw some degree of understanding when he boldly involved himself, all for the sake of introducing a win-win atmosphere between all involve—faculty, students, parents and the government.

As we know there is the historical bitterness that marks partisan behaviors as in the case of the political climate that sometimes surround relationship between a President from a particular party and leaders from another party. Such is the case of the U.S. President Barak Obama, a Democrat and some heads in the Republican oppositional party where political divide sometimes become so wide that it affect national work.

As it has been known, Oshiomhole has shown that political divide must never be allowed to slow down State or national functioning. He is remains a model and a symbol of cross- political harmony as evidenced by his flexible relationship to members of various political parties across the nation.

He seems from time to time to show an act of flexibility with his apparent positive interaction with President Goodluck Jonathan, of the PDP, an oppositional party to the Governor’s party-ACN.

It was not long ago that the Governor would show to the Nigerian people that when a leader champions any good course for the betterment of a needy area as with the underprivileged populations, that individual deserves the collective praise and respect irrespective of that person’s political party and aaffiliation. Such was the case of the Edo North Senator, Engineer Yisa Braimoh who single handedly financed a special school for persons with physical limitations. The Governor in spite of differences in political affiliation between both of them, saw the benevolence of Senator Braimoh as what is of importance to the people and reasoned that he is a man that deserves to remain the senate. Why? Because the Senator’s work goes beyond political affiliation, and like the Governor the Senator has also shown by his good deeds that what is important is not what party one belongs to but how one uses their individuality, and leadership and blessings to bring to bear worthy outcomes for the people.

As always the Governor has shown his distinctiveness in his deeds and works. This leads to the question of how often does a Nigerian leader engage in various manual or altruistic service without the limelight of the media?

This he often engages in as it was the case of helpless victims in a ghastly automobile accident that he personally took to a local hospital when he came upon them on the highway.

He has shown that if Nigeria is to move towards open democracy, the psychology of “godfatherism” or subjective command of power and influence by a single or a few persons’ on a whole state or nation must be reconditioned and replaced with equal access and opportunity irrespective of one’s state in life.

His far reaching work in various international and national bodies as they relate to labor wages, the role of privatization, the role of functional insurance system, the fight against AIDS and the need for progressive constitution uniquely make him a wanted man who deserves to be helping on a national level for the good of the people.

He has shown that higher humane standards should be pursued at all time as was revealed in his constant labor battle with the post military government of Olusegun Obasanjo .

He believes in the power of the rule of law as he demonstrated in his gubernatorial war of 19 months until his resumption into office in November of 2008. In spite of the struggles he endured which included arrest, he believes that the matter of unity is far beyond political, religious and tribal lines, and that progressive unity is the ultimate end of a good struggle.

He believes the nation will be well served with leaders who are confrontational and sacrificial, at least when in comes to matters of adequately executing public serves.

He has shown time and time again that those huge Corporations that show insensitivity to the people’s heath and safety must be confronted. And such was the case of the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation whom he legally threatened for their contaminated kerosene that resulted in loss of lives and destruction of properties some years ago. He believes the victims or their families should be compensated for the sake of justice.

Recently he openly corrected some personnel in his Executive council and even corrected his Commissioner of Health over the slow execution of a health-related project while at the same time same time ushering praises to the Commissioner in areas of the State projects were good performances are observed.

In other words, Oshiomhole always find it commanding to speak out only when it is about magnifying things that are of significance to the peoples’ overall progress.

If the Nigerian people are about pure development, growth, reform and progress, they should find a national place and mat for Oshiomhole to stand on and work.

He appears as a man who is idealistic, practical, simple, down to earth, and understands the psychological importance of risk taking, of constructive propaganda, of political maneuvering, and of shared politics as long as all these tactics lead to a better living, a better way and a better road to a great nation.

James Ibori and the Rest of Us

James Ibori

Nigeria is a country between the devil of corruption and the deep blue sea of hypocrisy.

Nigerians are ruled by their culture of corruption and their culture of hypocrisy.
We have the corrupt rulers and their beneficiaries and the masses of hypocrites who are even worse, they are the whited sepulchers.

Among those casting stones at Chief James Ibori on this topic are cheats, hypocrites and parasites.

You are not better than James Ibori if you are among those who have also stolen by over invoicing, doctoring documents, exploiting their poor employees and engaged in numerous vices.

A thief is a thief, whether you stole N1 or N1 billion.

The gambit President of Nigeria, Mr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan is doing his best to evade the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) case of money laundering against his wife Mrs. Patience Jonathan and those of his sponsors in the monstrous and notorious ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDP), the most corrupt political party in the history of Nigeria.

Nigerians May Welcome Military Coup

A popular American online news channel Huliq has reported Saturday that a military coup might be what most people need now in Nigeria since they have lost faith in the corrupt ruling party.

Nigerians have lost faith in their political leaders and may even welcome a military coup if that can salvage the nation from the evils of corrupt political contractors in power.

With over 20 million unemployed in the most populous country in Africa, Nigeria is on the brink of the worst fears of disintegrating before 2015 as predicted by the CIA. But majority of Nigerians blame their political leaders for misplacing priorities and scuttling the great prospects of the innovations developed by the Nigerian intelligentsia of gifted artists, scientists and scholars who have proposed practical solutions to the problems plaguing the nation. The greedy political contractors in power seem to be more confused than the electorate. They are still abusing their positions in government as revealed by the scandalous reports of misappropriations of public funds when last Thursday, Mr. Olabode George, a former chieftain of the corrupt and notorious ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and former Chairman of Board of Directors of the Nigeria Ports Authourity (NPA) was convicted for corruption. And he was not alone. Most of the former governors are still facing charges for corrupt practices. But many of them are still dining and wining and living large in their private estates in Lagos and Abuja.

Many banks have crashed and the manufacturing industry cannot function without regular power supply as daily outages have made many industries to collapse or relocate to Ghana where electric power supply is constant and cost of production is affordable.

There are public rallies against the government’s decision to deregulate the downstream sector and remove subsidies, and kidnappings are still common in the eastern states and Niger Delta region.

Millions of Nigerians say that Nigeria was better under military rule and have recalled that even though the country was bad under military tyrants, the corrupt shareholders of the PDP have made things worse.

Niger Delta Crisis: Amnesty or Travesty of Justice

Amnesty or Travesty?

I have decided not to approve the so called Amnesty the Federal Government has given to the so called militants in the Niger Delta region, because the celebrated Nigerian Nobel Laureate in Literature, Prof. Wole Soyinka already spoken my mind in his critical analysis of the anomie in Between Amnesty and Amnesia.

The recourse to Amnesty after the punitive campaign of the Joint Task Force (JTF) failed woefully is begging the question of the Niger Delta crisis and not a solution. The solution to the Niger Delta crisis is not a Herculean task if the ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDP) wants to be truly honest and transparent.

The bloody battle in the Niger Delta over resource control is actually a power struggle between mercenaries of the oligarchy in Nigeria fighting over illegal oil bunkering in the oil rich states of the Niger Delta. Both the serving and retired top military officers are actively engaged in the criminal operation of illegal oil bunkering and the Nigerian Navy cannot deny this fact, because the tankers and barges used for illegal oil bunkering are not invisible in the territorial waters of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. They are ruthless in their greed for political power and money that they have usurped the rights of the host communities and took over the reins of power in government to control the Nigerian Armed Forces and ruling party to plunder the mineral resources in the country.
They have shared the oil blocks and are now engaged in a do or die battle in illegal oil bunkering that fetches over $20 million daily.

President Umaru Yar’Adua knows the truth and the sooner he says the truth the better.
The most ridiculous is amount of N50 billion being projected for the conflict resolution as proposed in the presidential Amnesty. Before our very eyes, that N50 billion would be embezzled by the same mercenaries of the oligarchy in power in Nigeria and the devastated host communities would be left with the crumbs.
This so called Amnesty is a travesty of justice.
Who is fooling whom?

Is The PDP A Political Party Or A Political Cult?

Is The PDP A Political Party Or A Political Cult?

Is the People's Democratic Party (PDP) a political party or a political cult?

If you ask the founders like Chief Alex Ekwueme, a former vice president of Nigeria (1979–83), and Jerry Gana, they would not be surprised that I asked the above question.

Occultism is common practice among the leading politicians in this party, I also regard as the most corrupt political party in Africa.

Ask their elected public office holders how they got elected.

Juju Ritual Politics: Shocking Revelations from Abia State

The Woman of God from the East

Pastor (Mrs.) Delight Chikezie is the woman of God from the East who has been called to minister and bring divine deliverance to the poor and needy widows in Eastern Nigeria and other places and to heal the sick and comfort the broken hearted.
She is happily married with five children who are glad and grateful to the Almighty God Jehovah for what He is doing in their family and for using their mother for His awesome miracles with signs and wonders following her wherever God has led her.

She was in Lagos to ask her cousin Hope who is the Publisher of Supple magazine in Nigeria to produce 3, 000 copies of the poster of her forthcoming deliverance crusade in Umuahia, Abia state and she shared the divine rhema of her ministry with me. I told her that obedience to the command of God is better than sacrifice and recalled how God gave me the grace to preach on public transport buses in Lagos city for 11 years, working as a project secretary in the office of Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) and how I also enjoyed the company of fellow Christians in preaching the good news and planting churches on Bonny Island in Rivers state. She told me about the horrible and terrible human sacrifice made by the politicians in their cult in their desperation for power and wealth.

“Many virgins were murdered in their human sacrifice and in fact a young man was burnt alive in one of their cultic rituals,” she said.
I was shocked that such demonic rituals were done in my state of origin.
She disclosed the identity of the great harlot holding the political leaders captive in Abia state. Her harlotry and sorcery have been used to rule and ruin Abia since her son became the governor. She is the High Priestess of a goddess worshipped by her devotees and the politicians in her cult. The woman of God from the East said that God is already exposing the occultists and destroying their evils to deliver Abia state.

Hope had to delay other printing jobs to respond to the urgent order of the woman of God from the East and within 16 hours, his Art Director produced the camera ready artwork of the poster and Hope printed the 3, 000 copies of the poster, because he cannot delay the work of God for the benefit of our Abia state and the rest of Nigeria. The printer worked from afternoon to 9.30 pm and we had to carry the copies of the poster and the woman of God from the East to the branch of her church near the NNPC depot in Ejigbo, Lagos. She told us that she had forgotten her bag in our production office in Shomolu. We got to Ejigbo at 10.30 pm and after dropping the woman of God from the East, we left for our residence in Ifako, Lagos and got there at about 11.25 pm. I was glad and grateful to the Almighty God for granting Hope the grace to do this divine assignment to support Pastor (Mrs.) Delight Chikezie. She came to our office the following day to collect her bag and prayed for us before she left.

Later, I met with a pastor who was one of those consulted by Theodore Orji, the governor of Abia state during his power tussle over the gubernatorial post with Chief Onyemma Ugochukwu of the ruling People's Democratic Party (PDP). The pastor told me that he had to travel all the way from Lagos to the Federal Court of Appeal in Port Harcourt, Rivers state, to take some portion of the soil from the grounds of the court and returned to Lagos to pray for the defeat of Chief Onyemma Ugochukwu.

I asked him why he prayed for the success of the governor of Abia state who is an occultist. He could not give me any word to approve or justify what he did. I knew that he had done so to get favours in return from the governor. I asked him if it would be righteous to accept ill-gotten money from an evil man? He agreed with me on rejecting ill-gotten riches from evil people, because God said we must not accept evil goods and in fact, we must not eat of their dainties.

The pastor confirmed what Pastor (Mrs.) Delight Chikezie disclosed to me on the occultists holding Abia state captive and that they were led by the mother of the former governor whom he called the most powerful witch in Nigeria. I told him that we should expose this so called most powerful witch and the evil occultists in government in Nigeria. The pastor warned me that it would not be wise to dare them without having the powers to do so, because they would attack and destroy anyone who would dare them.

Let Us Stop the Aliko Dangote Mafia Gang-Up against African Petroleum Plc

Let Us Stop the Aliko Dangote Mafia Gang-Up against African Petroleum Plc

Nigerians Report has decided to address the case of The Unethical Manipulation of AP Shares Leading To a Decline in Value by Nova Finance & Securities Limited and Alhaji Aliko Dangote published on pages 94-95 of The Guardian on Tuesday, March 24, 2009.

It is important that this grievous allegation by the management of African Petroleum Plc against the Nova Finance & Securities Limited and Alhaji Aiko Dangote should be well investigated and the findings should be well circulated for the public knowledge of Nigerians and citizens of other nations, because hundreds of thousands of them are shareholders of these public quoted companies in Nigeria. Any act of economic misconduct or sabotage in Nigeria should be dealt with by the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE), Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFFC). The alarm raised by the management of African Petroleum Plc is in the interest of their nearly 200, 000 shareholders and the general public.
If Alhaji Aliko Dangote has personal scores to settle with his business archrival Chief Femi Otedola, he should do so privately and not on the floor of the Nigerian Stock Exchange. Aliko Dangote should not use innocent shareholders as pawns in his desperation to checkmate the advancement of Femi Otedola in the business leadership of Nigeria.
He should not use the shares of AP Plc to learn how to play Chess on the floor of the Nigerian Stock Exchange.

The fact is, without the Yorubas of Femi Otedola’s tribe, Alhaji Aliko Dangote would not have become as rich as he is today, because the majority of his customers or the consumers of his products are Yorubas. His own people the Hausas do not buy as much cement as the Yorubas, because Hausas hardly build houses as the Yoruba landlords who have landed properties from the Western region to the Northern region of the Hausas. Yorubas are the ones who buy most of the products produced and distributed by Aliko Dangote and not the Hausas who hardly indulge in extravagant parties as the popular Yorubas “Owanbe” parties. If the Yorubas should boycott Dangote’s products, the Dangote Group will collapse within 12 months. Imagine what would happen to the conglomerate of Alhaji Aliko Dangote if I make a clarion call to all Southerners from the East and Western states of Nigeria to boycott Dangote’s products and services? The Dangote business empire will crash!

Alhaji Aliko Dangote and his gang of Nova Finance & Securities Limited should stop their mischievous and unethical economic sabotage of “crossing” and devaluation of the shares of African Petroleum Plc at the Nigerian Stock Exchange. Any Dangote Mafia gang-up against Chief Femi Otedola and associates will fail woefully.

The ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDP) of Nigeria connived with Aliko Dangote to use the Nigerian economy to practice monopoly and Totopoly and he monopolized the importation of cement with the support of the corrupt political mafia of the PDP. But the time has come to stop the greediness of Aliko Dangote and demand for equity and probity in the economic development of Nigeria for the mutual benefit of all the citizens and other stakeholders.

Breaking News: Theodore Orji Wins At the Court of Appeal

Theodore Orji

Appeal Court in Port Harcourt has declared Theodore Orji of the Progressive Peoples Alliance (PPA) as the bona fide Governor of Abia State.

The court dismissed the petitions filed by Onyema Ugochukwu, of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) and other contenders who challenged the inauguration of Orji on May 29, 2007, because of the cases of electoral fraud reported during the gubernatorial elections of April 14, 2007.

Orji who returned to Umuahia on Tuesday after a three-day working visit to Abuja said he knew that he would win the court case. Most people in Abia State hailed the verdict.
