There Are Many Lazy Nigerian Youths in Every State

Many Nigerian Youths Are Lazybones
They are in every state in Nigeria; from the Niger Delta to the Lake Chad. They are not few.

The critics and detractors  of President Muhammadu Buhari said he goofed when he told the entire world that many Nigerian youths are lazy at the Commonwealth Business Forum in Westminster on April 17, 2018, during his official trip to the UK. And that provoked many Nigerians to castigate him for saying the truth.

Many lazy Nigerian youths are gambling away their lives instead of working as President Muhammadu Buhari did as a youth; a platoon commander at 21, twice state governor at 33 and 34 and Federal Commissioner at 36. Then lest we forget, he fought and survived for the unity of the sovereignty of the Federal Republic of Nigeria during the uncivil war, from 1967-1970.

Many of them prefer eating from hand to mouth from handouts to creating jobs and becoming self-employed.
Many of the jobless graduates of our tertiary institutions have no other skills beside their paper qualifications for white collar jobs.
Many of them ignore the awesome benefits of the Bank of Industry (BoI) giving SMEs loans that have created more than 200, 000 jobs so far.

According to PwC’s Global entertainment and media outlook 2017 -2021, Nigeria with a 12.1% CAGR (albeit strongly influenced by surging spending on mobile Internet access), will be the world’s fastest-growing E&M market over the coming five years while the slowest-growing will be Japan, growing at a 1.7% CAGR.

According to Trading Economics, disposable personal income of majority of Nigerians increased since the election of President Muhammadu Buhari

Disposable Personal Income in Nigeria increased to 19990333.51 NGN Million in the fourth quarter of 2016 from 19149057 NGN Million in the third quarter of 2016. Disposable Personal Income in Nigeria averaged 10992334.98 NGN Million from 2007 until 2016, reaching an all time high of 19990333.51 NGN Million in the fourth quarter of 2016 and a record low of 117513.58 NGN Million in the first quarter of 2007.

The increase in disposable income is the reason for the fantastic revenues from the cinemas in Nigeria since 2016 with the highest grossing movies in the history of Nollywood. The highest grossing Nollywood movie, "The Wedding Party" parts one and two made over US$2million and the highest grossing foreign movie, the "Black Panther" has made over US$2million from Nigerian cinemas within three months.

Those saying President Buhari and the All Progressives Congress (APC) have failed are either mischievous liars or intellectually ignorant and retarded.
Many of them attacking and insulting President Buhari are nonentities who have not sacrificed for the nation building of a New Nigeria.
How much does Reno Omokri contribute to our GDP?
How much does Femi Fani-Kayode contribute to our GDP?
How much does Sowore of Sahara Reporters contribute to our GDP?
They are empty barrels making the loudest noise.
They have contributed little or nothing to the nation building of a New Nigeria.

The hardworking Nigerian youths who are artisans, street traders and labourers in the informal sector and those who are factory workers and farmers understand what President Muhammadu Buhari is saying and they are not among the noisemakers on the internet whose tweets will not count for votes on election day.
With all the noise FFK and Reno Omokri made on Facebook and Twitter, their combined page views are not even up to the over 255, 700 page views of the topic on my meeting with Mo Ajibola of DECENTplatform in Lagos on February 19, 2018.

Many lazy Nigerian youths prefer gossiping and posting trivialities on the internet to reading books. That is why many of them lack intellectual comprehension and ratiocination to accept the bitter truth of facts from what President Buhari said. Many Nigerian youths are indeed lazybones.
