The Political Ignorance of Igbos on Northern Nigeria is their Political Downfall
The political ignorance of the southeast on the north is the political downfall of the Igbo political leaders and their people. That was the tragic mistake of Major Chukwuma Kaduna Nzeogwu . He thought he understood the north, but he was wrong.
Unfortunately for the All Progressives Congress (APC), there is no Igbo political leader in the national ruling party that understands the north. And anyone who does not understand the north cannot be a good President of Nigeria.

Kannywood Came Before Nollywood
The generalisation of the Nigerian film industry as #Nollywood has caused the marginalisation of #Kannywood in national and international appreciation and documentation by both majority of Nigerians in the southern based English language Nollywood and their foreign followers , including the scholars; except for Brian Larkin, Carmen McCain and Jonathan Haynes whose comprehensive studies on the Hausa language Kannywood have done the best to address the widespread ignorance of Kannywood in southern Nigeria and foreign countries.
I am totally against any attempt to change the narrative of Nigerian film industry from a distorted perspective on the history of Nollywood by commission or omission.
The following fundamental facts must be documented.

Nigeria: National Insecurity is Caused by Corruption and Incompetence
247 Nigeria @247nigeria
#ivoteNigeria
Corruption and incompetence are the twin evils causing national insecurity; from Boko Haram to ethno religious crises and crimes in Nigeria.
The tragedy of it all is that corrupt and incompetent people prefer to live in denial of the terrible truth.
Majority of Nigerians rush to point accusing fingers at the politicians. But they are also guilty of corruption and incompetence; from the petty thieves and cheating traders on the street to the white collar crooks in the office; students cheating in exams; lecturers engaged in academic malpractices; greedy employers cheating and exploiting their poor workers; civil servants doing misappropriations of revenue allocations; filmmakers and film distributors diverting grants and loans with their partners in crime and others engaged in different forms of corrupt practices of all sorts.
