The Fake Atheism of Prof. Wole Soyinka, Yoruba Orisa, IFA Divination, My Philosophy and Christianity

Famous Nigerian Nobel Laureate, Prof . Wole Soyinka, has stated that he does not believe in the God of either Christianity or Islam, describing himself instead as an atheist with strong spiritual awareness.

He made the remark during an interview with Larry Madowo on CNN, where he spoke about his personal beliefs and religious background.

https://www.nairaland.com/8653352/islamic-christian-god-not-belief#

I wrote the following in response:

Dear Prof. Wole Soyinka,
You are not an atheist if you believe in Orisa like Ogun and Sango or any spiritual core.
Except you are confused.

Atheists do not believe in God. Atheism is defined by a lack of belief in any gods or deities, or the rejection of the assertion that they exist. It is not a belief system, religion, or a shared set of doctrines, but rather a lack of belief.

The so called atheists in Africa are fake atheists like the first black Nobel Laureate of Literature, Prof. Wole Soyinka who says he does not believe in God, but believes in the Yoruba Orisa gods and goddesses.

Like saying you don't believe in the existence of God, but you believe in the existence of demons and spirits.

Africans reject atheism, because it is a a contradiction of African belief in the existence of the origin of humans on earth.

Not believing that God exists does not mean He does not exist.

It only means you are ignorant of His existence within the scope of your knowledge.

I believe in the Almighty God, because to doubt the existence of God is to doubt your existence.

If God does not exist, then we cannot exist.

We are the evidence of the existence of God.

My belief in God is based on personal conviction from logical analysis of both traditional Yoruba beliefs in IFA from my father who was both a Babalawo and Ogun priest and a certificated metaphysician.

He wrote his IFA Divination on notebooks like mathematics.

Believe it or not, he had powers and spoke in the strange tongue of marine spirits and my mother testified of seeing a mermaid once.

My elder sister confirmed the existence.

A female friend confirmed their existence.

IFA Divination is more than 2,500 years old before the birth of JESUS Christ.

And IFA did not deny the existence of God and JESUS Christ.

The mathematics of Ifá is a sophisticated, ancient West African system of combinatorics and binary logic used in divination to navigate probability and decision-making. It consists of 256 fundamental patterns (Odu) generated through 4-bit binary variation—a 16x16 system of single or double marks that pre-dates European binary logic. This system forms a closed, exact logical universe mapping 16 major Odu and 240 derivative Odu.

Like computer algorithms, Ifá uses data encoding and retrieval, showing parallels to the computer science concept of 4-bit and 8-bit systems.

Obi Abata (Cola acuminata) is a four-lobed kola nut native to West Africa, crucial to Yoruba culture, tradition, and Ifá spirituality. It is used in prayers, offerings to Orisha/Ancestors, and divination, generally symbolizing hospitality, friendship, and the balance of masculine and feminine energies.

The number 4 is significant in both geometry and symmetry of mathematics in art and science and religion.

In physics, In physics, the number 4 is foundational, appearing prominently as the four fundamental forces (gravity, electromagnetism, strong nuclear, weak nuclear), the four dimensions of spacetime (

space +
time), and the four quantum numbers used to fully define an electron's state in an atom.

Coming to Christian religion.

How can anyone explain how Prophet Isaiah who was a real historical person, widely believed by scholars to be a prophet who lived and ministered in Jerusalem during the 8th century BCE (approximately 742 BCE) accurately prophesied the birth, place of birth and death of JESUS Christ over 400 years before JESUS was born?" And the family tree of JESUS Christ is a historical fact.

What Will Be Your Legacy?

What is your worth to the growth of the earth?
Beyond what you have in your mouth and your smiling teeth.

Your legacy is not defined by what you have done for yourself, but by what you have done for the benefit of others.
It is not by how much you have, but by how much you give.

It is good to build houses.
But it is better to build lives.

Great nations are not built by building skyscrapers, but by building the lives of the people for their general enlightenment, empowerment and upliftment for nation building.

The greatest investment by any government is the investment in the education of the majority of the population.
You cannot build a nation without the education of the people.

60 Years Anniversary of Biafra: 1967-2027

60 Years Anniversary of Biafra: 1967-2027

The Republic of Biafra was a partially recognised state in West Africa that declared independence from the Federal Republic of Nigeria and existed from 1967 to 1970.
Its territory consisted of the former Eastern Region of Nigeria, predominantly inhabited by the Igbo ethnic group, but with sizable chunks of the region belonging to the Ijaw, Efik, Ibibio and other minorities.
Biafra was established on 30 May 1967 by Igbo military officer and Eastern Region Governor Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu under his presidency, following a series of ethnic tensions and military coups after Nigerian independence in 1960 that culminated in the 1966 anti-Igbo pogrom.

Memories of a Refugee Child

Ekenyerengozi Michael Chima Speaks on his memories of Biafra

After the blood and thunder of one of the most terrible civil wars in Africa, about a million corpses were left scattered all over the ruins of Biafra, by the roadside, bushes and shallow graves and millions of refugees harrowing in refugee camps besieged by the invading Nigerian army whilst the defeated Biafran soldiers fled. The nightmares still haunted one of the survivors, a refugee child who nearly died of kwashiorkor. And I have to tell you my eyewitness account, because I cannot erase the scars of the trauma of every refugee child. This is our untold story from the haunting memories of the horrors of refugee children in Biafra.

INSIDE NOLLYWOOD: Who is She?

INSIDE NOLLYWOOD: Who is She?

My first attraction to the unique beauty of Ikom were the ancient Ikom monoliths (Akwanshi) when they were kept in the National Museum in Lagos before the relocation to their state of origin, Cross River State in the south-south region of Nigeria.
The mysterious phallic-shaped volcanic stones were created between 200 and 1000 AD by the Bakor people carved with unique, intricate human-like features and undeciphered Nsibidi-like symbols discovered in the Ikom area of Cross River State.
My second attraction to the unique beauty of Ikom was when I met Nunnsi Ojong at the premiere of "Stigma" on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at the Old Film Unit, Nigerian Film Corporation, Ikoyi, Lagos.
The beautiful tall actress and model from Ikom sashayed to where I was standing with my female friend, light skinned Kimberly, very young beauty pageant queen and model.
Nunnsi wanted me to comment on the HIV/AIDS movie directed by Diminas Dagogo and starring the famous Ghanaian black and beautiful actress, Jackie Appiah, Nollywood diva, Hilda Dokubo and popular actor, Emeka Ike.
We spoke briefly and exchanged contact details before Kimberly and I left for an important appointment at the Four Points by Sheraton in Lekki.
Nunnsi and I communicated afterwards and I got her a small job for a red carpet event in Ikeja on the mainland of Lagos.
She flew in from Calabar and did the job perfectly.
I was impressed by her punctuality which I consider a top priority for professional appointments. So, I invited her to feature in my first documentary film, "Lagos in Motion" in 2016.

The film production is now in post production in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State where I have been staying and working on new creative projects that I would not have thought of if I didn't come to this land of beautiful and wonderful well endowed women.
One of the mothers here calls me In-law.
"The film is beautiful!"
"She is very beautiful and the other one with her."
The women viewing the clips of the footage on the laptop said with glints of excitement in their eyes.
Nunnsi and Celina Ideh, another fast rising Nollywood actress, model and International beauty pageant queen were at the Elegushi beach in Lekki during the first phase of the principal photography in the spring of 2016.
View the clip on Facebook.
https://www.facebook.com/share/v/19pAzbynZN/
Or on my Screen Naija YouTube channel.

"She is from Ikom in Cross River State and the other one is from Akwa Ibom," I said.
They raised their eyebrows in surprise.
I nodded affirmatively.
"The picture quality is very good," said Matthew, the owner of the office and screener.
"The film market valuation of "Lagos in Motion" is more than US$1,200, 000. The sights and sounds of Lagos in 2016 are not the same today," I said.
"This documentary on people on streets of Lagos is a time capsule of the largest megacity in Africa."
"These are the most beautiful pictures of Nunnsi in any Nigerian film and TV production. I have shown her unique beauty with close up shots of such clarity of her aesthetics not seen in the  different roles she has played in Nollywood."
Any filmmaker anywhere in the world who sees her in "Lagos in Motion" will want to have her in a unique role in film and TV productions.
I direct as an artist and a poet using the camera to capture the essence of the appearance of the face in unique facial expressions and body postures.
You will see it in the aesthetics of the unique Ikom beauty of Nunnsi Ojong in "Lagos in Motion" documentary film.
