Human Trafficking of Underprivileged Girls from Neighbouring Countries in Nigeria
The UNICEF in Nigeria has been doing a lot for the protection and welfare of underprivileged children in Africa's most populous country where thousands of minors are victims of human traffickers who are trafficking the most vulnerable underprivileged girls from the neighbouring countries to be used as .housemaids and street hawkers exposed to daily dangers and threats to their lives. But the federal government of Nigeria and state governments are doing nothing to stop the horrifying human trafficking of the underprivileged girls from the villages in the country and the neighbouring countries. In fact, many senior government officials and other civil servants, including law enforcement agents violate the Child Rights Act in Nigeria.
In 2003, Nigeria adopted the Child Rights Act to domesticate the Convention on the Rights of the Child. The Children's Rights Act 2003 (CRA) was created to serve as a legal documentation and protection of Children rights and responsibilities in Nigeria.

My Father Was One of the "Burma Boys" of World War 2
On every Father's Day and Victory over Japan Day, I celebrate it in memory of my great father, Sunday Eke, who was among the battalions of Nigerian soldiers of the Royal West African Frontier Force of the British Empire who fought against the Japanese Imperial Army, which had overrun large parts of Burma (now known as Myanmar in South-East Asia) during the WWII.
