EVENT OF THE YEAR: "He Named Me Malala" for the UN Day of the Girl Child in Nigeria 

To the glory of Almighty God alone, our greatest achievement this year is the successful organization of the 2015 United Nations' International Day of the Girl Child in Nigeria with the special screening of youngest Nobel Prize winner Malala Yousafzai's groundbreaking film "He Named Me Malala" on Sunday October 11, at the Silverbird Cinemas, Silverbird Galleria on Victoria Island, Lagos. 

The event attracted more than 300 secondary school girls in Lagos and Senator Oluremi Tinubu sent her representatives. The news report was on STV, Galaxy TV, NTA, Daily Times and made front page on Nairaland and celebrated by Malala on Instagram. The event promoted our nationwide Girls United Together for Success (GUTS) project for the education, protection and welfare of millions of underprivileged girls in Nigeria where more than 6 million poor girls are out of school which is the worst record in the world.
