THOUSANDS OF ATTENDEES AT OPENING DAY OF INTERNET OF THINGS WORLD!
Today, Internet of Things World returned to Europe with a bang!
This morning in Dublin, we opened our doors to thousands of IoT executives and enthusiasts who came to hear from 175+ visionary speakers commenting on the latest industry trends, and witness 100+ exhibitors showcasing the best IoT technology the world has to offer.
Day One saw Edmond Mesrobian, CTO at Tesco, Andy Caddy, CIO at Virgin Active, Wilhelm Nehring, CEO at ThyssenKrupp Elevator UK, Richard Corbridge, CIO at Health Service Executive and Beverley Bryant, Director of Digital Transformation at NHS Digital speak on how IoT innovation is transforming their organisations and industries.
Meanwhile plenty of IoT's biggest and brightest organisations including Uber, MasterCard, ARM, Johnson Controls, Huawei, John Lewis and the US Department of Homeland Security led sessions focusing on energy, environment, agriculture, security, startups, smart homes and IoT architecture.
And today is far from over. All attendees are now invited to come and have a Guinness, whiskey or glass of wine on us as we kick off IoT Lates - our official networking party for 2016! The bar crawl begins at the Mercantile Bar on Dame Street, where all delegates will enjoy a glass of bubbles on arrival and further free drinks. What better way to network and meet your IoT peers?
