The Victory of Donald Trump: Great Moments Teach Us Great Lessons for Life

I supported and campaigned for Donald Trump on the internet, from the presidential primaries to the historic presidential election on Tuesday, November 8, 2016, which he won by defeating the more favoured Secretary Hillary Clinton against popular conventional wisdom and the great expectations of majority of Americans and the rest of the world. And also exposed the false prophets who lied in their false prophecies in favour of Clinton.

The American Establishment in control of their Machiavellian mainstream media rubbished and tarnished the public image of Donald Trump in their desperate attempts to discourage him and force him to quit. But Trump refused to give up and remained focused on his great American Dream in spite of the odds against him and the exaggeration of his personal foibles and imperfections.

The pollsters published polls in favour of Hillary Clinton, the seasoned politician with outstanding credentials as former First Lady of America, the wife of Bill Clinton, one of the most charismatic Presidents of the United States of America. She was contesting as the first female presidential nominee in the history of America for the incumbent Democratic party. So, she was confident and rest assured of shattering the highest glass ceiling and becoming the first female President of America. But the unexpected surprise of Trump's victory shocked her and the rest of the world.
What happened?
A political phenomenon happened.
The ultimate hand of Almighty God JEHOVAH changed the Machiavellian status quo of Washington and caused a paradigm shift of power in favour of an outsider whose dogged faith in God was his great strength to ignite the power of the millions of disappointed and disillusioned American men and women to revive their faith in the American Dream.

Great moments in history have great lessons for every generation. The moments will come and go, but the lessons we learn can secure our future.

The Unforgettable Day General Murtala Ramat Muhammed Was Assassinated in Lagos

The Unforgettable Day General Murtala Ramat Muhammed Was Assassinated in Lagos

Friday, February 13, 1976 has remained an unforgettable day in the political history of Nigeria and in my memory. It is over 40 years ago, but the most tragic incident of that fateful day was the assassination of General Murtala Ramat Muhammed in one of the bloodiest coups in Nigeria since the first coup executed by the late Major Kaduna Nzeogwu on January 15, 1966.

Education And The Threats To Nigeria's Internal Security - LT. Gen. Abdulrhaman Dambazau

Minister of Interior, Lt/ Gen. Abdulrhaman Dambazau (rtd).

EDUCATION AND THE THREATS TO NIGERIA’S INTERNAL SECURITY

By The Honourable Minister of Interior of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Lieutenant General (Rtd) Abdulrahman Bello Dambazau CFR PhD at the 2016 Annual Lecture of Barewa Old Boys Association on 8th October, 2016 in Abuja, Nigeria.

INTRODUCTION

1.It gives me great pleasure to address my childhood constituency, the Barewa Old Boys Association.   It is a singular honour indeed to be invited to deliver the 2016 Annual Lecture.  This lecture is long rooted in a tradition within which many eminent alumni of Nigeria’s greatest secondary school have addressed this Association earlier.   Indeed, I come here with a sense of humility for the honour accorded my modest accomplishments in the Army, my contributions to academics both during my military service and after retirement, and now in the public service, where I am serving as the Minister of Interior, a trust given to me by His Excellency, Muhammadu Buhari, President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Federal Republic of Nigeria. As a product of the prestigious Balewa Collage, I am privileged to be counted as one of the ubiquitous ambassadors of the College under the aegis of Barewa Old Boys Association.

We Must Stop Fooling Ourselves From Nollywood To Kannywood

We Must Stop Fooling Ourselves From Nollywood To Kannywood

Is it not an international embarrassment that there is no single film commission in Nigeria? Not a single film treaty with any country. And the so called stakeholders in the Nollywood and Kannywood are quick to brag about being the second largest producer of movies in the world, making 1000 movies every year; they must have included home videos of their "Owambe" parties, birthdays and weddings.
