Nsibidi is Older than the English Language

Nsibidi existed from the 3rd century before the metamorphosis of the English language from the West Germanic languages in the 5th century.

Nsibidi used on an Efik tray made in the 19th century. A mermaid encircled with diagrams including Nsibidi ideogram.

Nsibidi has been described as a Semasiographic script comprised of ideograms and pictograms that were used in southeastern Nigeria among the Ejagham (Ekoid people), Efik, Igbo, and Ibibio societies.

The Ejagham originally came from Northeast Africa which supports my analogy of the origins of Igbo Ukwu art of the ancient Igbo Ukwu Kingdom with the ancient Indus Valley Civilization of the 2600 BCE to 1900 BCE.

Igbos believe that they are descendants of one of the Sons of God who descended from heaven and had a relationship with one of the daughters of Eve.

Lucy (Australopithecus) the oldest

fossilized bone comprising 40 percent of the skeleton of a female of the hominin species Australopithecus afarensis was discovered in 1974 in Ethiopia, at Hadar, a site in the Awash Valley of the Afar Triangle, by Donald Johanson, a paleoanthropologist of the Cleveland Museum of Natural History.

Insibidi is the secret language of the Ekpe Leopard Secret Society of the Efik, Ibibio and Igbo societies.

Nsibidi means The Beginning in my mother tongue of the Igbos  sharing borders and ethnic similarities with the Efik and Ibibio tribes.

Nsibidi is more than a written language.

It is also a sign language of the Ekpe Leopard Secret Society and unknown to the various Nigerian artists who have been doing nothing more than to copy and paste Insibidi for drawings, paintings, sculptures, prints and potteries and posing and posturing as experts, Nsibidi is also expressed choreographically in a movement of hands and footsteps of secret language communication by members of the Ekpe Leopard Secret Society and used by the dreaded Ekpe masquerades.

I once confronted an Ekpe masquerade decades ago in the early 1990s on the popular Fola Agoro Road leading to the University of Lagos on my way to visit a beautiful girlfriend, Naomi, the Joy of my heart.

As others were either avoiding or running away from the scary looking Ekpe masquerade holding a machete and bell and a chain was tied to the waist held by his guides, I stood face-to-face with him. He was growling and snorting angrily. I was not afraid, because I have also met original Ekpe masquerades during festivities in my mother's hometown of Umuda Nsigwu in the Umuahia North Local Government area of Abia State of southern eastern Nigeria.

Two weeks ago, whilst waiting for a tailor in front of his residence in the Ekpri Nsukarra village in Uyo, a friendly discussion with one of his young neighbours drifted off to Nsibidi and the Ekpe masquerades and he demonstrated one of the movements of their secret language.

Ada Ure, First Daughter of Beauty

Ada is the Igbo name for the first daughter.

Her body decorated with Uli black dye motifs.

Uli is as old as 3000!BC

Igbo mythology said Uli was a gift from Ala, the goddess of earth, who blessed women with the ability to create art.

The Igbo tribe has the oldest monarchy in Africa dating back to the ancient Igbo Ukwu during the Bronze Age around  3,000-2,500 BC,  same period of the Indus Valley Civilisation.

Means Art of Uli comes from the hand of destiny or God.

This esoteric NFT is done in Nsibidi, ancient form of writing in pictograms,  logograms or syllabograms by the Igbo tribe and related ethnic groups in South Eastern Nigeria. Insibidi means the Beginning in Igbo language.

I have been exhibited in Japan in 1983 when I was 20 and my works were insured by the UNESCO. I was exhibited in the National Museum of Nigeria and curated the first Art Against AIDS Exhibitions in Nigeria in 1993 at the National Museum and National Arts Theatre in Lagos. All the works were collected. 

My highest priced works in oil paintings on canvas were, "The Metamorphosis of the HIV in the T-Cell" was bought by Family Health International (FHI) and "Eruption of the Love Virus" bought by a private art collector. $20,000 for each one at first exhibition in the National Museum in 1993.

How can you traverse the universe,

When you have chosen not to see beyond your nose? 

They called her the ageless woman of the Igbo Ukwu. The Mother of all the Dibias of Afa divination. 

I came to the peak of the hills of Udi where I found her sitting under an Ugiri tree.

She was sitting on green palm fronds encircled by gourds. I came before her naked and bowed.

"Gini bu afa ghi?" 

She asked  in the language of our kingdom meaning, "What is your name!"

"Onyemachi."

I replied. 

She gazed at me. She gazed into my eyes. Her eyeballs were like golden almonds. She gazed at the windows of my soul. Then she nodded her hairless oval head.

"Hmm. Indeed Onyemachi. Of course, who knows God?"

She shook her head.

"Nobody knows God. They call, cry and shout His name every day and night and yet they don't know Him "

"Great Mother, I want to know Him. I have come to know Him," I said.

She gazed at me again.

With the index finger of her thin right hand she scribbled on the ground what I could not read and did not understand.

"You want to know Him whom they don't know?"

"Yes, Great Mother."

She brought out the bowl of the shell of a tortoise with a short stick of Ofo wood. Then she brought out the four strings of AFA one by one. 

"Open your right palm," she said.

I opened my right palm.

She held it and gazed at it.  She opened her right palm and gazed at it and gazed at mine again.

"The truth is only for the children of the covenant," she said.

"Not all the children of Yebu are called. Not all the ones who are called are chosen."

She picked up the first string of the AFA with her right hand and cast it on the ground.

Our forefathers and diviners said Yebu came with the Afa when he descended from the midst of the clouds in the sky with flashes of lightning and claps of thunder.

Yebu was one of the Sons of God who came down to the Earth.

"And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, 2 That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose '"

The ancient Nsibidi writings which were discovered in 1904. Historian Robert Farris Thompson erroneously misinterpreted the meaning of Nsibidi as "cruel blood thirsty". But Nsibidi actually means "In the Beginning" or "The Beginning".
Igbos are "UmuChineke" which means Children of God. 
Do you know that the word, CHI which is the Igbo root for the name of Almighty God, Chineke and Destiny is a universal name for destiny as the CHI in Chinese and Japanese which means the Vital Life Force of the universe.

Chi or X is often used to abbreviate the name Christ, as in the holiday Christmas(Xmas). When fused within a single typespace with the Greek letter Rho, it is called the labarum and used to represent the person of Jesus Christ.

The leadership of Ohanaeze Ndigbo does not even know the true origins of the Igbos. And the most intellectually ignorant are the leaders of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) who claimed that the Igbos are also Jews, the descendants of Abraham, when the archeological proof of Igbo Ukwu shows that Igbos have the oldest monarchy in Africa of the same period of the Indus Valley civilization before the birth of Abraham. If you don't know your history, then you cannot build the foundation for a nation.

The leaders of IPOB are political opportunists who are terrorising fellow Igbos to sit at home and not to vote in the elections they have registered for. 

You are attacking the fundamental human rights of the people and using dictatorship and terrorism to force them to reject democracy in the federation they have chosen to be part of as bona fide citizens of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, but you have collected millions of naira, the official currency issued by the Central Bank of Nigeria.

It is Political Idiocy and Political Hypocrisy to claim you are Biafran and you support IPOB, but you are still desperately applying for or having the Nigerian passport and NIN to apply for government jobs, loans, projects and sponsorships. 

The ignorance of political education and history has made many of the Igbos to believe the shallow political propaganda of the IPOB.

Any action to force people to accept a political cause is TERRORISM.

You cannot build a nation by terrorising Igbos to join IPOB.

You cannot build a nation without love, peace and unity.

If you see the dilapidated buildings in the National Museum and National Gallery of Arts in Lagos, you will not want the Nigerian artworks in foreign museums to be returned to Nigeria.Because, Nigerians cannot preserve or protect our artworks. They are better preserved and safer in American and European art galleries and museums.

My masterpiece of painting, "Blessed Mother" I made live in the Education Unit of the National Museum in Onikan on the Lagos Island was later missing from the museum and never found till date. Some of my colourful illustrations were missing at the UNICEF in Nigeria in 1988 and not found till date.

The private art galleries don't have the funds and management for the preservation of artworks and many of the galleries have incompetent staff without certification in art curation or preservation. Many galleries have  closed without any any records of the whereabouts of the artworks. I have lost priceless works without trace when custodians relocated without notice.

Nigerians cannot preserve our artworks.
Please, don't return them to Nigeria.

Exposing the Historical Lies of Biafra On Abraham, Israel and the Igbos

Psychological Warfare with historical facts will end the agitations of the Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) and the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) within three years and not military operations.  Because of their wromg premise of the historical origins of the Igbo triibe. Since their agitations have been premised on the wrong judgement of being historically linked to the Jews and Israel, they have shown their intellectual ignorance of the facts of the origins of the Igbos of South eastern region of Nigeria. You cannot have a nation without historical foundation of the history of your country.

Igbos don't have any relationship with the Jews of Israel which DNA results have confirmed.

Igbo Ukwu already had a king and kingdom before Abraham was born. Igbo Ukwu civilization is the oldest  with the lost wax casting for sculpture in Africa. The oldest in the world was  found in the Indus Valley Civilization of South Asia from 3300 - 1300 BCE. Igbo Ukwu was a Bronze Age civilization. The bronze artworks of Igbo Ukwu are the oldest bronze artifacts known in West Africa and were manufactured centuries before the emergence of other known bronze producing centers such as those of Ife and Benin. The bronzes include numerous ritual vessels, pendants, crowns, breastplates, staff ornaments, swords, and fly-whisk handles.

Abraham the founding father of the Jews existed during the Iron Age which came after the Bronze Age which came after the Stone Age. Therefore, Igbos cannot be from any of the lost tribes of Israel.  Finis.
