Ivy League schools are some of the most prestigious schools in the world with high selectivity in admission. The combine academic excellence with the development of the students’ particular and individual skills and talents. They also encourage a strong network of alumni bodies with connections to the best opportunities after school life. The schools are eight in number: Cornell University, Harvard University, Yale University, University of Pennsylvania, Princeton University, Columbia University, Brown University and Dartmouth College.
Getting into any of the Ivy League schools requires adequate preparation on the part of parents as well as the child. Although these universities are for young adults, any parent that intends to enroll his/her ward in one of these schools would need to start the training the child from a tender age.
