Trial of Senator Bukola Saraki is A Political Comedy of Errors

The political trial of  Senator Bukola Saraki, the new President of the Senate of Federal Republic of Nigeria is a political comedy of errors.
The Code of Conduct Tribunal has a faulty foundation and the 13-count charge against Senator Saraki by the Code of Conduct Bureau for falsification of assets he declared are trumped up allegations plotted for his embarrassment and impeachment. 
It has nothing to do with the fight against corruption.

This is what I call Political Battle Royale of Nigerian political leaders and it is nothing new, because we have seen these political dramas before. From the removal of first President of the Senate of the fourth republic, Senator Evan Enwerem of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) on November 18, 1999 and his rival, Senator Chuba Okadigbo took over as President of the Nigerian Senate. But he was also removed on August 8, 2000 and Senator Adolphus Ndaneweh Wabara of the same PDP became the President of the Senate from 2003 to 2005 before he was forced to resign in April 2005 and was succeeded by Senator Ken Ugwu Nnamani from 2005 to 2007. 

Enjoy the political drama of the political fallacy and hypocrisy of Nigerian political leaders.
While they are busy with their useless political drama, Boko Haram is on a killing spree in Maiduguri and they don't care, because Boko Haram terrorists cannot reach them and their own families who are well protected and secure.
While Boko Haram terrorists are attacking, killing and raping the daughters and wives of the poor and powerless, the daughters and wives of Nigerian political leaders are busy doing makeup and going shopping for designers collections for their next social rendezvous and red carpet events in Lagos, Abuja, Dubai, London, Paris, Milan and New York.
They have turned Nigeria into a political comedy of errors and a tragedy of horrors.
They have no conscience and they have no shame.
Nigerian democracy is the monopoly of political opportunists applauded by political idiots.
